We have added two major new features to Fussy Vegan: Ratings and Offline Mode.
Ratings
You can now see ratings from other Fussy Vegan users for eligible vegan products and restaurants.
Product ratings cover:
- Taste
- Quality
- Value
Restaurant ratings cover:
- Food
- Service
- Value
An overall rating is calculated from these three areas. If an item has not received any ratings, the app will display No ratings yet.
VIP Access subscribers can submit their own ratings. Ratings are only available for products and restaurants that have a suitable vegan status. They will not appear for non-vegan products or restaurants with no vegan options.
Offline Mode
Offline Mode is a new VIP Access feature designed for places where your internet connection is unavailable or unreliable, including supermarkets with weak mobile reception.
After completing the initial download, you can continue to:
- Scan product barcodes.
- Search for products.
- Browse product guides and food-chain lists.
- View product ingredients and allergen information.
- Check additives and ingredients.
- Search and view recipes.
The app uses live information whenever a reliable connection is available. If the connection is unavailable or too unreliable, it automatically switches to the information downloaded to your device.
After the initial download, updates are downloaded automatically when a reliable connection is available. Images, videos, ratings, Live Chat and certain other live features still require an internet connection.
You can turn Offline Mode on or off, check when your downloaded information was last updated, or remove the download from the Settings page.
